This small slice of Western Hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla) is from a tree that came down in an ice storm on Mount Hood in January of 2024. This piece had a small hole in the center from heart-rot and a branch feature. This batch was printed on Kitakata Washi Japanese paper made from Gampi fiber, using blue, green, yellow, and white oil-based relief inks.
