This small slice of Western Hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla) is from a tree that came down in an ice storm on Mount Hood in January of 2024. This piece had a small hole in the center from heart-rot and a branch feature. This one is printed on black Nepalese Lokta paper wildcrafted from bark of the Daphne shrub, with blue and white inks.
